More ships, more happy guests: Since our foundation in 1996, we haven’t stopped growing! We held and consolidated our leading position on the German and European markets. The basis of the economic success of tomorrow is our responsible behavior in the here and now. We, therefore, place great value on ethical conduct, always treating our guests, employees and business partners with consideration, and carefully managing natural resources – both at sea and ashore. As Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s largest company, we also take responsibility for this region – and indeed worldwide.

Last years, we continued our course for success. We now offer more routes too: in the last years, we added new destinations – the Black Sea and the Red Sea – further enhancing our destination portfolio. Although we are an international company, our roots will always be in the region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Our innovative concept has allowed us to further increase our popularity among the general public – and today we are the best-known cruise ship brand in Germany.

But we’re not resting on our laurels – we have a great deal planned for the future too! Naturally, we want to further consolidate our top position in the German market, and the same goes for our leaders in Europe as well.  In fact, new AIDA cruise ships will take to the seas. This will increase our berth capacity from a current figure more than 30.000. Moreover, we are adding new destinations to our portfolio: The city of Venice on the Adriatic coast, and the Spitsbergen and Lofoten archipelagos to the north of Norway.

AZAMARA CLUB CRUISES

Azamara is the new, up-market cruise experience for discerning travelers who long to reach out-of-the-ordinary destinations and indulge in amenities and service unparalleled on the high seas. Azamara is a coined term derived from the Romance languages. This includes the more obvious links to blue (az) and the sea (mar). The name was also inspired by a star, Acamar. In Classical times, the star Acamar was the most southern bright star that could be seen from the latitude of Greece. We think of Azamara Club Cruises as a star on the blue sea.

Started in 1972 from the single ship it has 24 modern ships. 130.000-ton Carnival Breeze entered service in 2012. Think you have the skill and vision to be a part of our future?

Nothing on earth compares to the value of a Carnival Cruise vacation. Because on a ‘Fun Ship’ cruise, one low price covers just about everything. All your meals are included. Every shipboard activity is included. Even entertainment is included.

Compare that to most land vacations where you’re constantly faced with the added expenses and hassles of reservations, valet parking, buying theater tickets and searching for things to do. And what land vacation can take you from one exotic destination to another while you dine and dance or dream the night away. And the simple reply, Carnival, The Most Popular Cruise Line in the World!
